TLDR: Nora lied about showing up to our house at the agreed upon time, didn't send any update notes during her time with our dogs and left without telling me/ before any agreed upon time. If you're looking for a communicative dog watcher I would not recommend Nora. I reached out to Nora a week before we were going to be out of town as our previous care provider bailed. She was kind enough to meet with me that day via video chat. Unfortunately, from there things went down hill. We had agreed on the Friday of her starting to watch the boys she would be at our house by 2:30pm. She wasn't there at that time when my in laws thought she would be, but figured she was just running behind. After following up to see how she and the dogs were doing countless times, I finally got a written message when she denied my phone call twice. She claimed she had been there and left for an art install but from what our external cameras showed, she never showed to our house with the dogs. After hearing about this I told her I understand things happen and she eventually showed up after 7:30pm... 5 hours after our agreed upon time. Luckily, my in laws were in still in town to help us with feeding them their dinner. During her stay with our dogs, we didn't get any updates from Nora. I would have to reach out to hear about how things were going and still received minimal feedback other than "we're just hanging out". Lastly, Nora left before she knew we would be back or with any indication of when we would be back in town. I reached out at 1:52pm to ask when she was comfortable staying till and she had already checked out at 10:30am... again I had to reach out for this information or we would have never known. If you're looking for a communicative dog watcher I would not recommend Nora.

We were so glad to have Nora stay with our dog and cat while we were out of town! We came home to happy pets and a happy home. Nora was super communicative and conscientious, we look forward to having her take care of the animals again!
