Pet care experience
I am very patient and have raised 2 dogs from the puppy stage. The training process can be a little ruff 🐾, but very rewarding. It’s fun tricking them to learning new things and watching them grow and develop. My current dog is 7 years old and spoiled rotten. She lives with my mom as her protector, but is still very much my baby. She is super smart, loves belly rubs and neck scratches, while protecting my family.

OMG Nontombe was EVERYTHING I could want and need in a sitter! After dropping my son (dog) off I knew he was in good hands. He could feel her wonderful spirit and I can tell that he thoroughly enjoyed himself. She kept us updated with pics, videos, and messages! I will definitely use Nontombe again!! 10 out of 10 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! She’s the best…..literally!!

Hi! :) PLEASE READ: 🚨Please make sure your pets are crate trained!🚨 If your pet is not crate trained or has a high level of separation anxiety to where they cannot be left alone, unfortunately I am not best sitter for your needs. There may be times where I have to leave to run an errand, the gym or handle other business, so it would be nice to know that I can trust your pet to behave while I am gone. If no other dogs are in my care (or if they get along with other dogs), they will be able to free roam with supervision. Otherwise, they will be crated for their safety and the safety of my home. I provide them with food, water, and a comfortable place to sleep. I play with them and provide treats for good behavior. I like to let pets be as autonomous as possible and provide attention and love when they want it.

Temperament is important when forming a relationship with your pet, so please let me know how they would like to be approached and handled. I usually let pets come to me and get comfortable, but if they are shy and need a little extra love and patience, just let me know! Please let me know if they have any specific medications or treats they like to have and the appropriate administration methods. I will have treats that I can give periodically, but if you have a specific brand/type, please bring them with you.
A typical day
I provide ample backyard space for your pet to stretch their legs. If toys are provided, I have no problem stimulating them with play time and giving them lots of love and head scratches. I live near several walking trails that would be perfect to take your pet on strolls. It’ll be great exercise for them and extra cardio for me! :)

Availability
I currently work from home 5 days a week, so I am very flexible with my schedule. My weekends are also flexible for walking and sitting. My only other obligation at the moment is the gym, which only takes up about 2 hours of my day. I will also begin classes in the fall, but they are all online, so it should not interfere with your pet’s care.
