Aloha and welcome! I live in a spacious apartment in the dog-friendly neighborhood of Golden Hill, two steps away from Balboa Park! Comparatively, I offer a special service on Rover where I give your dog the one-on-one attention he/she needs while you are on a getaway of your own. Most sitters watch more than one dog at a time, but my prices are only slightly higher to accommodate for my unique level of care. There are no other pets or children in the home, so you need not worry about your pet's comfort, especially if they do not get along with other dogs or have special needs. However, if your dog is other-dog-friendly, I love taking them to dog beach or have my Rover friends over for play-dates and supervised socialization. I volunteered for an animal adoption center called the East Maui Animal Refuge, or 'Boo Boo Zoo' and can provide references if needed to previous dog owners who I have house/dog-sat for over the years. I have even met with the Rover website team when I first began booking through their website and became a Premier Sitter. Just down the road, I work for San Diego City College part-time as a Philosophy/English Tutor. Since my schedule is part-time and my work location is just a few blocks away, I can give your dog nearly 24/7 supervision and would only be away for a few hours at a time if any. My only request is that I have a short meet and greet with you before booking either dogboarding or dog daycare. This way we can make sure I am a good fit and that you and your fur-child are comfortable with all arrangements. You will be provided with a time to get your dog acquainted with the apartment to know that it is a safe place and I can answer any questions you may have, as well as learn their particular routine.
