I just graduated college and am living back at home, so my availability is very open. I've owned dogs my entire life (ranging from chihuahuas, boxers, labs, golden retrievers, and german shepherds; one of which was my father's K-9 police dog), and I am very capable of handling dogs of any size or strength. Walking dogs has always been a huge passion of mine. I enjoy more than anything to get them engaged in the activity they were built for, plus they love it! I am a runner, so if you have very active dogs, I will run them very well. I have never had a dog dislike me, in fact, they always seem to gravitate toward me. My last job was serving as a Behavior Therapist (Applied Behavior Analysis) for children with Autism. On top of being a method of treatment for people, ABA is widely used for animal training, especially with dogs. My knowledge and experience with this method greatly improves my handling with animals. I also just earned my Bachelor's degree for Psychology, and I like to notice and act on the parallels between human psychology and animal psychology.
