For generations, my family has loved dogs. Even before I was born, there was a dog in my household and I've lived with dogs ever since. I have experience with various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I work best with pets who are friendly and outgoing. However, I am proud to say that over the past three years, I have slowly and carefully built a bond with my sister's VERY anxious rescue. I was blessed to share 15 years with my best friend and childhood dog. For the last few years of her life, she struggled with some health issues that caused her to occasionally have seizures and fall down. I would prefer to not witness an animal suffering like this, but I do have experience in handling such situations with gentle patience and compassion. On numerous occasions when family members went out of town, I have cared for three dogs at once in my home. I love dogs and I am willing to be patient and reserved, or excited and friendly based on the personality of your pup.
