Pet care experience
I have always been a dog lover and for over a year now have been caring for a two year-old, highly energetic Australian cattle dog, Diogy. Diogy is a rescue who was passed around between four homes during his first year before coming to my partner and me. As a result, we have been showing him immense love and working with him (and multiple wonderful trainers) to successfully manage his reactivity and anxiety around strangers and new environments. As his companion, I have learned to be patient, careful, and attentive as well as ready to go at a moments notice when he wants to play, run around, and herd (which is all the time)!

Noah took fantastic care of Mahler! He proactively inquired about ways he could help train him during the walks, and communication with him was effortless. Noah's experience with high-energy puppies was reassuring and gave me peace of mind that Mahler was in good hands!
I had a wonderful experience with Noah‘s daily drop-ins for my cat Seltzer. Noah was extremely communicative and responsive and made it easy to set up the visits even while I was already out of town. The daily updates, including pictures and thoughtful remarks, really eased my mind about the well-being of my cat. Seltzer was in fantastic shape when I returned home and I have no doubt that he really enjoyed Noah‘s company. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Noah again should I need another cat sitter. Given my dog Diogy's reactivity, anxiety, and high energy, I practice patience and attentiveness in my day-to-day interactions and play with him. More specifically, with the assistance of two great obedience and behavioral trainers, I have learned to bond and communicate with him through strictly positive reinforcement. This training has also included bonding and training with him in multiple environments including in the home, at parks, on trails, and in highly public spaces (such as college campuses and stores). My time with him has reinforced my belief that all dogs are good girls and boys and deserve as much love as we can give them. It is my promise to you and your dog(s), then, that I will treat and care for your pets as much as I do for mine.

A typical day
With my own dog, Diogy, I try to blend both physical and mental stimulation by combining activities such as running and fetching with tricks and impulse control exercises. For clients, I will be just as stimulating and am happy to play any game your dog enjoys, such as fetch, tug of war, hide and seek, puzzles, etc. I also love taking dogs to new places so they can explore, get new smells, and get comfortable in unfamiliar environments and terrains. I certainly am open to bringing your dog on an adventure!

I am currently a graduate student with a very open and flexible schedule, both weekdays and weekends. Currently, I can be available for same-day bookings and at most times in the morning, evening, and night.
