Pet care experience
I've volunteered at the MDSPCA for 6 months. Before that, I was walking and training a family member's dog. I have no dogs at home so I can give you extra-special pup all the attention it needs.

Njeri is a dog walking volunteer at the Maryland SPCA. She is a hard worker and a self-starter. Njeri works with some of our fearful/shy, jumpy/mouthy, and stronger dogs. We are very thankful for her! She is always very in-tune with the dogs and always puts them first. She is observant and very aware when she is walking. She asks great questions and I have a lot of confidence in her as a dog handler!
Njeri is great with pets and very knowledgeable. She has taken care of my pit a lot and my dog loves her. She taught my family how to make our dog healthy homemade treats. She also helped us with training our dog, specifically with jumping on people. She is very kind and thoughtful with our animal.

A typical day
There is a large safe neighborhood near my house for your dog to walk or run through. I can play fetch or tug, or can set up a treat puzzle if your dog wants something less physically demanding.

Availability
I'm in school part-time currently. I'm available Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 11am - 3pm, though I will update if availability changes over the summer.
