Aren't the kitty quirks lovely? I feel like I specialize in those ... I've always had a very special bond with animals; growing up in the country I was luckily surrounded by a little bit of all the animals. Starting in my early 20s, I - off and on - started fostering for various animal groups in the Austin area. Fostering led me to discover one of the most special creatures I have ever encountered: an initially shy and timid lab/corgi mix (Jenni) that completely stole my heart, especially when she became blind with such grace. Since most of my animals have been special needs through the years, I can say firsthand I know how truly lovely and inspiring these sweet creatures are! Lucky for me, many of my babies blessed me with lots of their senior years; my Gremlin (a Russian Blue) lived to be 26.
