Pet care experience
I'm first and foremost a dog lover and while this is an opportunity to make a little extra money, I also just get to spend more time with doggos. I've taken care of my own family dog (a corgi terrier mix that still lives with my parents) for 11 years and have dog sat for several friends and family members over the same period. I'm equally happy being active outdoors and chilling indoors, so feel comfortable adapting to a spectrum of dogs' needs. The most important aspect of all of my dog care experience has been understanding a particular dog's personality, needs, anxieties, and health concerns, and I make sure to discuss these items with dog owners thoroughly prior to booking. I have experience with a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes, and am comfortable caring for multiple pets at a time. I understand how important your dog is to you and happy to provide regular updates and pictures of them while you are away, and will remain in regular communication with you about how they are doing and any issues that occur. In addition to dog care, I am comfortable doing a variety of housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, and gardening if requested. Basic grooming is free, and more thorough grooming is available for a small fee. I look forward to meeting you and your dog!

You can immediately tell that Nishant is an animal lover and cares for them by the way he interacts with them. We have asked Nishant to check in on our puppy and take her for walks while we are out. He provides updates and pictures. We trust Nishant and plan to ask him to watch our puppy when we are traveling in the future as well. Would definitely recommend Nishant!
Nishant did a great job taking care of our 2 dogs and bunny :) . He was responsive and kept us updated on the pets and happenings in our household. We will be sure to book Nishant again.

I am fully vaccinated with a booster and following strict safety measures for myself. I am happy to follow any safety measures you prefer. When meeting a client, first and foremost is a detailed discussion with the client about their, and their dog's, needs, routines, and special considerations. I go over the dog's day to day activities or care required with the client and ask any questions needed to make sure I am able to give the dog the care, activities, and routine they are accustomed to. I provide any information the client would like to better understand the care I provide, my experience, and my character. Lastly, I review what kind of physical environment the dog will be in and learn what things I need to be aware of/cautious about, including the natural environment and other pets/animals in the neighborhood. Many dogs are anxious when meeting a new sitter or at the beginning of a visit with a known sitter, so I make sure to understand the dogs' anxieties and what kinds of things help the client's dog feel safe and calm, and implement these methods in my care. I am happy to provide additional references to a client if they would like more information.

I'm happy to take your dog to whatever park or area they like to go for walks and activity. Both at home and elsewhere, I'm comfortable doing walks, games, puzzles, fetch, playtime with other dogs, and whatever play your dog enjoys, belly rubs or snugs included.
