Caring Animal Lover
Pet care experience
I am an animal LOVER, advocate, and volunteer at several area animal shelters. I’ve done dog walks and pet sitting for over ten years and have absolutely LOVED every step! I’m so excited to care for your pets and provide exceptional care to your babies, love on them and protect them as if my own! I’ve grown up with several different pets my whole life, and have a deep love for all kinds of animals. I have grown up caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish of all types, birds, and even chameleons. Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I’ll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are.
Reviews
Nina did an excellent job watching our two frenchies over a long weekend. Kept the dogs happy, was very neat and clean, and sent us updates on how everything was going. A great experience and help having her here.
Nina took great care of Teddy for 12 days while I was on a vacation. She was friendly, paid attention to Teddy’s feeding and potty schedules, and took him to park for his play time. She was wonderful communicating, giving me updates on Teddy, sending photos throughout the day, and could feel her love for Teddy and animals. I highly recommend hiring Nina and I am rebooking her for my August trip. Thank you Nina!! :)
Nina is the best. She is kind, responsive, and truly cares about the dogs like they're her own. This was our first experience with Rover and it could not have been better. There was not a moment I was worried about my dogs. They were in excellent hands. We are so looking forward to using her again.
Nina did a fantastic job watching Charlie. She kept me up to date with the activities and pictures. She was so kind to pick him up and drop him off which worked great for my schedule. Charlie seemed happy and tired from all the adventures he had over the weekend with Nina. I definitely will be using her again.

Information Nina W. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences. I love all breeds. Before sitting a dog, I will always ask the owner these following questions: 1. Will I be expected to provide extra services? (feeding schedule, grooming, training, etc.) 2. How do you deal with bad behavior? (What expectations do you have for me? Are there certain commands or words I should use? Is the pet supposed to be relegated to a specific area of the house?) 3. How do you reward good behavior? (giving them a treat/specific treat, extra affection, or certain words or commands used to reinforce the positive behaviors.) 4. Is your pet allergic to anything? 5. Is there anything I need to keep an eye out for? (Is there anything the pet is extra interested in lately? Is there a specific area of the yard they frequently go to? Has your pet been trying to get out when the door opens? Is there anything else I need to pay more attention to?) 6. What should you do in case of a medical emergency? (contact information, vet information, who I should call if they have pet insurance and any other specific instructions.) 7. What are your pet’s triggers? What are they scared of? What will they react to?
A typical day
It all depends on the energy of the pup i'll be taking care of! For high energy dogs, we will go on nature walks, check out local dog parks, or even play and go for a swim in my backyard. Most medium level dogs would enjoy these activities as well :) And for low energy dogs, we would go on a stroll around my neighborhood, and then i'd let them lounge wherever their heart desires, whether it's with me, my couch, or my bed.

Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my daily routine. As a remote worker, I have the flexibility to be present for your dog throughout the day. On the rare occasions when I'm away, it's only for a maximum of three hours.
