Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals since for more than 20 years now. Friends and Neighbors have trusted me with their fur babies for care, walks, bathing, cleaning of wounds, managing of allergies, feeding, giving medications (including insulin), snuggles, pets and playtime.
Reviews
We booked with Nina and Rover once before for our golden retriever, Ella for an overnight trip. We had never left Ella overnight before so we weren't sure how she (or we) would do. Because her first stay with Nina was so wonderful, we asked her if Ella could stay with her in Nina's home while we went to meet our newborn grandson and family for eight days. Thanks to Nina's incredible care, communication, and love for Ella, we had no concerns about her well being while we were gone. Nina communicates with us daily, sending pictures and videos of Ella with her family. I told Nina that she is now part of our family. Ella loves staying with Nina and her family and we are so very thankful for her! I highly recommend her. Thank you again, Nina, for another great stay for Ella!
Nina was truly incredible with our Golden Retriever, Ella. We have never used Rover before but found out last minute that we needed a sitter to board and care for her. Ella stayed at Nina's home with her dog and family. Nina truly cared for Ella and spent time with her as if she were her own dog. She played ball with her and her family enjoyed cuddling with her. Ella is very people friendly and we had no concerns while we were away. Nina sent text messages, pictures, and videos of Ella playing and having a wonderful time, so we always knew she was having a great time making new friends. Nina's care for Ella allowed us to have a wonderful time away and we highly recommend her! Thank you, Nina, for taking such great care of our girl. You played a huge part in allowing us to have a great trip!
Nina visited our 2 very shy cats daily while we were away at our son’s wedding. She sent us pictures each day. We would use Ninas services again!
Couldn't be happier with the experience of boarding with Nina. She was so sweet, thorough, and patient. My boarding included a very grumpy cat, who was treated like a king in her place. I received daily updates and pictures of them. I am positive the dogs and cat will miss her! 💕

I ALWAYS require a meeting with the pets. I also want to talk to the owners and see their interactions as well. The safety and comfort of their fur babies is really important, just as it is for my fur baby. I would ask for their normal schedule, what a normal day for them is, and I would try my best to keep it as normal as possible and the schedule as close to the same as possible. If their pets do not like dogs/little dogs, then we can figure out what will work best for their fur baby needs, while keeping everyone safe and happy. If they have pets that need a little more TLC, frequent let outs, or weird behaviors we can also talk about those so that I am aware, and we can all be comfortable and happy. The biggest thing for me is that the pets are ok with me coming into their space, and that we are all safe for the time we are together. I love sending updates to the pet parents on how their fur babies are doing and will ask if there is a preferred way to do this (text, or wifi). I do have a fenced in back yard for use, and if I have questions after the fact or something seems off, I will reach out and talk to or ask about it. IF you have a larger dog (over 40lbs) Please reach out. I have a back injury now so dogs that pull a lot on walks or are larger and need some extra TLC might be a bit harder for me but I will discuss this with you and your situation. Lets keep everyone happy, healthy and having the most fun!

Information Nina T. would like to know about your pet
What makes them comfortable, what are their likes and dislikes, do they have allergies or things they cannot have, what is their normal schedule, do they like other dogs, feeding schedule, are they crate trained/house broken, do they like walks, who is their vet as well as the information for their vet clinic, are they up to date on shots, bordetella, etc. What are things I need to know.
A typical day
I live in a beautiful Golf Course Community, where there is ample places to go walking. As the long as the weather is permitting it, Piccolo and I love walks! We also love being in the back yard, sitting on the porch and playing with our toys. Living in North Central Florida there are so many dog friendly places to go hiking too! Sometimes on weekends My dog friend group will get together and take our fur babies on hiking adventures.

I have a dog, who is my whole world, so we go on walks unless the weather is inclement, we have snuggle time, play time, hang out time, and honestly it is the best times of my day. I do have a full time job, so he and the pets we are friends with will be left about 9hrs, but if that needs to be modified, I can work with that.
