Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, and currently have one of my own. I love nurturing the instinctual nature of dogs through exercise, learning, and affection. I believe dogs should be stimulated through exploring the outdoors and new environments, or by activating their associative memories to learn new things. My puppy Kiwi and I have been traveling the country in our camper-van and it makes me the happiest dog mom in the world to see her explore, learn and enjoy all that the world has to offer. I want to share this with other dogs!

Nina did a fabulous job watching my dog for the full day. She is kind, responsible, trustworthy, and treated my dog as if he were her own. They went on hikes and walks and played- I received regular updates and never had to worry. She is very responsive, flexible and I would definitely hire her again. Doesn’t get any better than this.

Pets are family! I will care for and respect your pet as my own. I lovingly invoke rules, boundaries, and limitations to keep your dog safe and reward them with affection/treats to help them learn how to stay safe in my care. I believe this method is more effective than yelling at dogs when they are just trying to navigate a new environment and don’t understand why they are being scalded for exploring. You will receive many pictures and videos of your dog to help with the separation anxiety all of us dog parents get! I will update you on activities, feeding, potty breaks, and anything else you’d like to know. I am very responsive and you can feel free to call or text me anytime. I use Rover for my dog as well and I know it can be hard to leave your loved one in the care of a stranger, so feel free to come over early for a cup of coffee or meet up with me prior to booking to become comfortable with leaving your pet in my care!

Availability
I would love to take your dog on an adventure! Some of the activities I enjoy with my dog that I would love to share with yours include, but are not limited to, hiking, running, swimming, fetching and socializing with other dogs and people. Activities will be customized based on the activity level of your dog with safety being the number one priority. We will discuss what YOUR dog would like to do and I can give you options to pick from - I do not host dogs for more than one household at a time to be able to give your dog and their needs my full attention. After a fun day or couple of hours of playing and being a dog, your pup will eat and sleep very well. * Boarding: Your dog will enjoy a day of adventure and come back to my home ready to rest, where he/she will be fed, praised for a great day and made a cozy spot wherever they’d like to sleep. Options for lighter or no adventure as well for our older pups! * House Sitting: Options for adventures during the day, and your pet will feel especially comfortable coming back to their own home to rest. I would respect your home and dog as my own. * Day Care: Pick your dog up after a day of adventure and they will be ready for bed as soon as you get home! * Dog Walking: I’m able to walk your dog around your neighborhood, or if he/she doesn’t mind the car, I can take them to a nearby park or large fenced in area if you’d prefer to allow them to run and play. Same-day and last-minute requests are welcome. * Drop-In Visits: I would love to stop by anytime to feed and play with your pet! Same-day and last-minute requests are welcome.
