Pet care experience
I will make sure your dog feels loved and safe while in my care. We love dogs and know how important they are to their humans as ours is to us. We have a large yard and a cozy home with lots of toys and treats (fed with your approval). We have one small senior dog now. Our vet is just a block away. Over the years we had another dog and cat, and I had animals growing up. We pet sit dogs and one cat for friends. We prefer not to sit cats or puppies at this time.

Nina has been our favorite pet-sitter for quite awhile and we highly recommend her. She has watched both our cat and dog on numerous occasions, and they have always been happy to spend time with her and Junebug. While Nina is an excellent care-taker, Junebug is also an easy-going host. An important factor when pets are in a new environment.
You could only be so lucky as to have Nina care for your dog! She is extraordinarily loving and caring and will follow any regime necessary with love and care. Both my long haired dachshunds, Oona and Ophelia, love Nina as much as they love me, and that says A LOT. Not only is Nina an animal lover, she is professional, honest and trustworthy. She's great at sending photos so you always know what your doggie is up to. You might have some competition when you come back home- your dog might not want to leave Nina’s side. I require proof of vaccination: Rabies, Bordatella (2x per year), Parvo, Distemper. Your dog should be up to date with flea meds too. I have a large yard that is fenced in with plenty of room to run around. Our senior dog gets along well with others. Your dog should get along with other dogs as well. We go out for frequent potty breaks and there's plenty of dog beds and big pillows to lounge on inside.

Please let me know of any sensitivities or behavioral issues ahead of time. I prefer small to medium dogs, potty trained. I give treats to my dog for doing her 'business.' They are mostly chicken based. Let me know if that's ok to give to yours too.
A typical day
We usually go for a morning walk, come back and have a treat. Then it's lounge time while I work. There are frequent potty and cuddle breaks! And play time in the yard.

I work from home most of the time and travel for work occasionally. Saturdays I'm usually home catching up on chores and such so I'm happy to have fur guests then too.
