Nina was late arriving at the house. Booking request was for 5p. I gave her until 6p. She arrived at 7:30p. By 8p we had leave. When she arrived, there was a man with her. When I asked her about the man with her she said she thought she told me she brings her husband for safety. She did not inform us she would be bringing anyone. Even when I told her we had a previous issue with a sitter bringing additional people into our house, she said nothing. We ended up having to ask her and the person she brought to leave. She “apologized “ but held that she has to be able to feel safe. We understand her need to feel safe but that is something that should have been disclosed so we could either ask to meet him or go with another sitter. As for the dogs, when I asked about being late and told her the dogs had not been fed, she just said sorry traffic is bad but I’m on my way now. She didn’t even leave until 6:30p when I contacted her to find out where she was. She came in and ignored the dogs, and just went to put food down. Then sat on couch and still ignored them. I have a 15 yr old that we are close to the end with. I was not confident she would have provided care for her.

Nina was an excellent sitter for our two dogs while we were away for several days on short notice. She was communicative before and during her stay at our house and we would love to have her look after our boys again if the opportunity arises in the future
