Experienced Dog Foster-Mom
Pet care experience
I have had all breeds, and personality types of dogs growing up. I currently own a lab/ collie mix that is a big goofball! In the past I have owned small dogs such as Yorkies and malteses, hyper-herding breeds such as welsh corgi's, as well as large/ protective breeds such as police-trained German Shepards. I also foster hounds for a local Coonhound Rescue. When I foster these dogs, I have to teach them basic behavior skills, tricks, and setting boundaries. I administer medicines for issues both big and small. I have had great success walking dogs and pet-sitting for multiple neighbors for the past couple years and this is why I decided to move to this app! Any good dog walker/ sitter know that dogs are part of the family and should be treated as such! I am here to care for your dog while you are at work or away on vacation. I am responsible and care for the dog's well being above all else, because I would like someone to do the same for mine.

Information Nina G. would like to know about your pet
Things I would like to know about your dog before having them in my care, 1. Are they potty-trained? 2. Are they food aggressive around people or other dogs? 3. Do they resource guard (guard things they like such as their favorite spot on the couch or their favorite toy)? 4. Are they afraid of lightening, thunder, anything else? 5. Do they have any quirks? 6. With boarding, please bring your dog's food bowl, favorite toy, and dog cage.
A typical day
An array of toys, a large house to play in, not to mention a huge fenced in yard with a 6ft privacy fence. My Lab LOVES other dogs, so he is always down for a game of tug-o-war or just to play in the backyard. The dogs are always with me when I'm home, whether I'm gardening in my fenced in back yard, watching TV on the couch, or sharing a spot on my bed with me sat night. If I am not home though, I do crate my dogs. This is because sometimes when a dog is in a new environment, they don't always act the same to a place they are accustomed to. so when you do bring over you pup for his stay, please bring his dog crate.
