Pet care experience
I have cared for animals all my life. I volunteered at a local no-kill animal shelter for most of my childhood, where my daily tasks involved walking dogs of all sizes, feeding, bathing, and interacting with under-socialized dogs and cats to help them be adoptable. I have grown up with both cats and dogs of my own, and these days I am often the go-to pet sitter among my friends and coworkers. I view pet care as a privilege rather than a task, and would love the privilege to look after your pet!
Reviews
Nina was great! Clear communication and regular updates! I will use Nina again if our schedules align!
Nina F. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.
Nina was great with my cat and made sure he had a comfortable stay and was as stress-free as possible. She was always quick to respond when I messaged her for updates. Would definitely come back to her again in the future:)
Nina was great with my cat. He is very shy and she was very patient with him. She was also very responsive and send pictures. Thank you so much Nina !

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
My focus is not only on the safety of your pets, but also other critters that may share their space. I believe that it is important to closely monitor pets while outside, so that they can have fun safely and responsibly. I never unleash a dog without the owner's permission and unless the environment and setting is suitable for it. I have experience with reactive dogs and am careful to accomodate their needs when on a walk where triggers may be present. My priority is that your pet has fun in a way that is safe and comfortable for them!

Information Nina F. would like to know about your pet
Please fully fill out your pet's profile and let me know of the following: - Reactivity to people, other dogs, other animals, etc. - Destructive tendencies (destroying furniture/household objects, peeing inside, etc) - Ability to be left alone (how long can they be left alone for, do they bark when left alone) - Health issues that may be relevant - Anything else you think is important for me to know!
A typical day
I like to match the pace of each animal, whether it be a long walk in local parks, tagging along with me to go to pet-friendly events, or just chilling at home.

Availability
I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I am never out of the house for more than a few hours at a time, usually 4 hours maximum.
