Pet care experience
I have been a dog mom for over 12 years. Moon (my Boston Terrier cross) is a kind, charismatic guy who has lots of energy and loves to make new friends. We live in a beautiful neighbourhood across the street from Queen Elizabeth Park, where we go for long walks/playtime daily. I live in a house with a fenced in yard where I work from home, so the dogs will almost always have someone there with them. In addition to leashed walks around Queen Elizabeth Park, we also frequent a fenced in dog park that is only a 5 minute drive away. This is a great option for dogs who love to run and be social! Photos of my home and the park are on my profile. More about pet care experience: My first Boston Terrier, Hugo, lived for 10 years. Unfortunately, he suffered from heart disease, so the last 2 years of his life involved a lot of vet visits and medication. I had to adapt my work schedule to fit his care. I am now self employed, with knowledge of how to care for a sick/senior animal and administer medication on a schedule. In addition to the little guys, I have experience caring for large breeds as well! My brother had a 120lb Cane Corso for 12 years who I used to babysit when he wasn't around. I also took care of my friend's 90lb Siberian Husky in my home for 4 months after she had knee surgery and could't get him the exercise he needed.

Nina AND Moon, because my Simba loves them both! Thank you for taking such excellent care of Simba over my cruise vacation Nina was very responsive and always a pic. waiting for me when I got to each Port of Call, with working wifi. Simba was very calm /serene, clean and neat when I picked him up. He behaved and looked liked he has been to the perfect Spa. No worries when I was away and Nina was very flexible in regards to time changes from flight delays etc. Looking forward to a worry free vacation soon with Nina and Moon 😇😇💕
Oh my goodness…this was our first Rover experience and it was fantastic. I can not say enough wonderful things about Nina. She accepted our crazy last minute booking, took such amazing care of our fur baby Beau, sent us a few pictures and updates, and even lent my son a rain coat (because he left his at home) - totally above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend Nina for any looking for a trust worthy and conscientious person to watch your pet. Thank you Nina! We hope you can watch Beau again one day!
Nina and Moon are the perfect hosts! Percy is home happy and exhausted. I’m worried she will be lonely without her new pals. She will be back!

My house is super cozy with a fenced in yard, lots of toys and extra dog beds. I am almost always home and I have a baby gate to separate the upstairs floor where the bedrooms are. This way I can keep an eye on the dogs at all times. House Sitting Clients: I'm able to work remotely and like to keep my environment clean. You'll always come home to a tidy house! Where I go, Moon goes - so your dog (or cat) will have a pal during the stay. He is also very clean and respectful.

A typical day
I love to get outside with my dog a few times a day for walks/playtime and would love to include your fur baby in the fun! I live in a house and work from home, so pee breaks are easy and can be as often as needed. We also frequent the nearby dog parks each day. When I'm not working, I like to get into the forest/mountains for a hike or visit one of the local beaches. If your pup is more into lounging, that's totally fine with me too. My house is super cozy!

Availability
I am a self employed photographer/content creator who works from home when I'm not out exploring. Each morning I take my dog Moon for a long walk (at least 3km) around our neighbourhood. We live very close to a large park, so this makes our morning walk very enjoyable with lots of green space! In the late afternoon we visit to the dog park nearby to play fetch and socialise with our neighbours.
