Pet care experience
I started with cat sitting as a tween, but started walking dogs at the humane society in college and fell for dogs! I've sat for many a neighbor dog, and learned many practical things in that time. Owning my first dog made all of my "knowledge" laughable! I had to potty and leash train my 1 yr old, 125 lb, extremely anxious rescue dog - a Herculean feat!! I've found that I'm good at training and I have LOTS of patients with difficult dogs.

We are in a duplex with a big, fenced-in backyard. I love snuggling and lounging around with dogs and am a master at fetch! My own dog is a lazy 6 yr old mastiff/dane who only feels comfortable with small dogs. Depending on his mood and your own dog's energy level, he may play with them, snuggle, or simply ignore them and sleep the day away as usual.
