I am a lifelong animal lover! Some of my early memories include holding a beautifully feathered chicken at a playground petting zoo, and spending time with a friend’s family helping fostering young kittens. Go Dog Go is one of my favorite childhood books; it is a book about dogs wearing silly hats, doing silly things in all kinds of places, and has a great fun ending! I have extensive experience caring for pets of friends and neighbors, caring for cats and dogs on weekends and for up to 2 weeks at a time. My experience includes feeding, walking, playing and keeping company overnight for the pets under my care. Dogs are my favorite pets; I grew up with my grandparents’ dogs, and we adopted our aunt’s dog into our family after she passed away. I have a strong desire to have my own dogs in the future, but I am waiting until I can best provide for my pet with a big yard and balanced work schedule. For now, it is the best of both worlds: fun time spent caring for pets, paired with the flexibility of earning additional income to help with school expenses! I am very comfortable with all types of dogs; I really enjoy playing, going on walks with and training dogs, and I look forward to meeting you and your dog, and making it as fun and relaxing for your good boy or girl as it is for me!
