Pet care experience
Unlike many people on Rover, I grew up being afraid of dogs. Wow. What an opener. I've always had them in my life, but I never trusted them, or understood them, and so I was always fearful of them. 3 years ago I moved in with my girlfriend and she has boarded countless dogs over that time, so it forced me early on to research and learn about how to interact with dogs to keep them happy and calm. I've gotten over my fear, but beyond that, I truly think I share a deep understanding with dogs and the way they think and feel! My main goal when I take care of your dog is to become a member of their pack. Someone they can trust, and be themselves around! I'm so excited to get to know your pup and become friends with them! :)

Nikolas was understanding to Walnut's needs and accommodating to pick up/drop off times. He took great care of Walnut. When I picked him up he was worn out from all the fun he had. Would definitely recommend booking services with Nikolas he is awesome!
I have never met anyone with such an intense passion to understand dogs and make them feel at home. He knows how to approach and deal with dogs properly according to their tendencies and personalities, but also gives them the right amount of love and friendship that they desire. Niko has been co-sitting, boarding and walking with me for a long while, and he is an amazing friend and caregiver to all animals.

A typical day
I love me a good game of Tug of War. Fetch is my jam. Frisbee? Bring it on. hanging out on the couch and watchin a movie. There's a beautiful park with lots of trees, squirrels, and other dogs to play with around where I live. Also, there are more quiet roads we can go down where no one will bother us, if that's something they need.
