Pet care experience
My passion for pet sitting stems from my lifelong companionship with animals. From my earliest memories, I've shared my home with beloved pets, like my dear Lady, a cherished Shih Tzu, and a bunny. These experiences instilled in me a deep love and respect for animals of all shapes and sizes. While I’m currently not ready for the long-term commitment of owning a pet, I find immense joy in caring for them. I'm eager to extend that love and attention to pets in need of care. With a solid understanding of animal behaviour and ample experience in dog walking and sitting, I've had the pleasure of caring for a variety of furry friends, including Corgis, Spaniels, Beagles, and even a lively Maltese pup for a 12 day and overnight care. My ultimate goal is to provide a nurturing and safe environment for pets, ensuring they feel loved and comfortable while their owners are away.

Nikola did a fantastic job looking after Bella and our home while we were away and sent regular photo updates which was lovely. Bella had never stayed with anyone else before, so we were nervous to leave her but Nikola was so kind and great at communicating throughout. We would definitely recommend Nikola to anyone looking for a sitter.
Nikola is lovely.She goes on walks with our dog Max frequently and he is always very happy with her. Nikola was also looking after Max during our holiday.She was sending us pictures and daily updates so we know he is safe and taken good care of.I would highly recommend Nikola to others.

When it comes to caring for pets, I prefer to do so in the comfort of their own home. Building a strong bond is key for me, which is why I make it a point to meet the pets a few times beforehand. This gives us a chance to get acquainted and establish trust between myself, the pet, and their owners. Before any long-term stays, I like to spend supervised and unsupervised time with the pets. It helps us both feel at ease and comfortable with each other. I'm also a big believer in compassion—I'll spend plenty of time playing and chatting with the dog, making sure they feel the love and attention they need while their owners are away. I'll ensure your pet always has fresh water and food, if necessary.

A typical day
On our first day together, I love taking the pup on a stroll around familiar territory around their neighbourhood. Local walks are my go-to, giving them a chance to explore and lead the way. I always aim for routes with plenty of greenery and conveniently placed poo bins for their comfort. Also, I've got a clean driving record, so I'm happy to provide pick-up and drop-off services for your dogs whenever needed during our home visits.

Availability
I’m currently working full time but only go into the office twice a week, and have a 2pm Friday finish so I have plenty of time to play with your pups during the day & during lunch breaks when I'm working from home. I’m also available on weekends and weekday evenings after 6pm
