I have been surrounded by dogs of all sizes, breeds, and needs ever since I can remember. The reason for this was because my parents felt that knowing how to properly take care of a dog was one of the few skills absolutely needed before reaching adulthood and leaving the nest. Since part of how my parents raised me included how to take care of dogs, I was given exposure and responsibility within the pet care world at a young age so I have many years of experience even though I am nineteen. My history of personal care for dogs dates back to my childhood where I was privileged enough to help raise two Labradoodles in our family in addition to pet sitting numerous dogs for family friends, which could sometimes extend to weeks on end. In addition, I have had great results in puppy training, which includes getting them potty trained, learning new tricks, how to properly go on walks, etc. Concerning my professional experience caring for pets, I started a dog walking business in 2019 and held only a handful of clients at the time because I was also in my senior year of high school then. Now I am looking to help support myself further as a college student and am looking to take on more clients as a result of having more time. These past two years I have racked up countless hours working with many different dogs and have consistently gone on walks with one to two dogs at a time as well as occasional overnight pet sitting at clients' houses. Many of the dogs I work with currently are on the older side as well so I am used to the sensitive care needed for that demographic of pups.
