Pet care experience
I’ve cared for dogs of various breeds since I was 11 years old. Family, friends, and some neighbors entrust me with their fur babies as a walker, trainer, and pet sitter. They also contact me for tips ranging from natural flea & tick prevention to paw protection in the winter. I love all fur babies, but senior dogs hold a special place in my heart, and I adore curious puppies.

Sebastian absolutely loves Nikko and her family’s dogs! She cares for our baby as if he’s her own. I really appreciate the photos during visits, especially the ones of him socializing at the dog park or basking in the sun on her patio furniture in her backyard. I’m so sad that Sheridan’s closed; he really enjoyed the frozen custard treats that Nikko spoiled him with, but he enjoys the puppuccinos from Starbucks too. I wish we didn’t have to share our gem (Nikko) with other pets, but other fur babies need love too.
Nikko is heaven-sent. She’s so sweet, and it’s easy to tell that she has genuine love and concern for all animals. Nikko has been our sitter for years, and our dogs are always excited to see her. She attended the birth of our princess’ litter, and educated us on how to handle the babies and interact with our dogs during labor and the early postpartum period. She even attended the follow-up vet visit! Nikko is always knowledgeable and eager to help.

I will provide services inside of our home as well as outdoors in our large fenced backyard. Your fur baby will be free to explore every square foot of our home except for my fenced vegetable garden. We live 20 minutes from the off-leash Shelby Farms dog park, and 25 minutes from Overton Park’s dog park. Both parks are amazing for socialization—a key aspect in training and behavior. We have two dogs who adore playmates, and are well socialized. They love to snuggle and show-off their speed in the backyard. Fresh water and food will always be available.

I have no breed preferences or restrictions. I prefer that your paw kid(s) be child and dog friendly. I would like to meet you and your fur baby as well as assess temperament. -Does your pup have a trusted vet nearby? -Does your pup have any health issues that need extra attention, e.g., dietary restrictions, medication, triggers, mobility issues, etc.? -Is your pup spayed/neutered? -Is there a secondary contact person that you would like me to reach out to should you not be in town in case of an emergency? -What is your pup's current routine?
A typical day
I will take your fur baby on walks in your neighborhood or let them romp around at local dog parks (Shelby Farms or Overton Park) with your prior approval. Dogs typically enjoy a swim at the dog parks’ lakes; please let me know if you allow your beloved pet to swim in natural bodies of water. Butt scratches, belly rubs, and treats (with your prior approval) will be eagerly given.

I’m a stay-at-home wife and mother of a young toddler. We have two dogs in our family (medium-sized (spayed) and small-sized (neutered)). My schedule is flexible, and I do offer ongoing long-term set schedules.
