With 30 years of dedicated pet care experience, I understand the importance of tailoring my services to meet each pet's unique needs and preferences. I have extensive experience, as well, with bully breeds and pets with anxiety issues. I ask for full instructions so that I know, down to the detail, how you care for your dogs and what they are like so that I can continue their schedules and care as you do. It's all about them, after all. And you. You'll return to a home that is the same as you left it and will also care for houseplants, mail and other normal housesitting needs (even taking out the trash.) Whether your four-legged friend is a playful pup or a gentle giant, rest assured that they'll be in loving and capable hands under my care. From daily walks and engaging playtime to cozy cuddles and proper feeding, I am committed to maintaining your pet's well-being and happiness throughout our time together. If they like to sleep in the bed, I'm 100% open to that (and love it!) My approach to pet care prioritizes open communication and attention to detail. I'll update you with regular photos and messages, ensuring you're always in the loop about your pet's activities and demeanor. Safety is also a top concern, and I am well-versed in handling various situations that may arise while your pet is in my care. Nikki did a great job caring for my two Bostons! She was warm, friendly and detail oriented about the specifics of their needs. I got pictures and updates while I was away, which was great because I missed my boys! She also tidied up before she left, which was great to come home to. Nikki is reliable, dependable, loves dogs, and I would hire her back anytime!
Nikki stayed at our house for a week to watch our two cats and dog. From the moment we met Nikki we were comfortable with leaving our pets in her care. She is knowledgeable, friendly and caring. She was communicative, easy to reach, and always updated us on our pets and any small issues that arose. Our house was left in tip top shape , she helped with getting mail, taking trash out and even washed sheets and remade the bed. We highly recommend Nikki and would definitely use her again.
I hired Nikki while out of town on a business trip for my two elderly pups. Nikki was great and provided updates regularly. Not only did she keep my. Animals safe and happy while I was away, she sent updates, was a great communicator and let me know of issues as soon as they arose. My dog needs injections twice a day. The first was a challenge but Nikki persevered and managed to turn the experience into a positive one. Nikki took care of my house and went above and beyond. It was great coming back to a clean house. Looking forward to working with Nikki in the future!
I can’t say enough about our positive experience with Nikki. This was the 2nd time Nikki has stayed in our home with our 2 dogs. Nikki treats our dogs and our home with kindness and respect. She makes a killer Blueberry/blood orange/banana bread. That was a welcome surprise waiting for us after a long day of travel. The dogs seemed so happy when we returned. It’s nice for the pups to stay in their own home and have the ability to stick to their routine. Nikki goes the extra mile to make sure the dogs are cared for just as we would care for them. Again, she made sure our flight was returning on time before leaving the pups for our return home. The house was emaculate! With Nikki in our home we have 100% peace of mind when we travel. Happy to make our home her home anytime we travel.

I provide walks but no hardcore hiking, running or other high-level physical activities on my part for dogs that require a lot of energy release. I'm the gal that plays a a ton, inside and out, goes for walks, snuggles on the couch, does training work as needed and overall acts as your substitute pet parent!
