I’m am an undergraduate at the university of Rhode Island with a bachelors in Preveterinary Science - with the dreams of becoming an emergency criticality/ exotics specialist. Right now, I am a veterinary technician with years of professional experience in handling/restraint, medicating and caring for a variety of different species (dogs, cats, birds, rodents, reptiles and aquatics); Ive grown up surrounded by many animals and I currently have a dog, 7 cats (one is a blind kitten), a cockatoo parrot and three chinchillas. When it comes to loving animals, there is no shortage here. I also have experience with geriatric animals (using slings to assist with walking, experience expressing bladders, orally medicating, bathing, etc). I also do standard hygiene tasks such as ear cleanings, nail trims, and teeth brushing! I may be small, but nothing can’t stop anyone with a big heart.
