Pet care experience
As we all are here on this app, I am an animal lover and want to give them the best care! I have extensive experience working with dogs at the humane society at a previous internship and have always been the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends. I grew up with animals all my life and still care for my cats at my family home. I am a pet parent of a 3 year old Boston terrier and know just how important it is to ensure your fur baby is in good hands. I am very communicative and thorough with any specific behavioral or medical needs.

On a typical day, she gets fed once in the morning and once at night, goes for 2-3 walks, gets undivided attention for playtime, and doga (dog yoga). I always do different enrichments weekly such as dog beach, dog parks, windows-down car rides, and social events. I am very active and look forward to taking your dogs for a long or short walk. For pet sitting, expect lots of belly rubs, snuggling, walks, and play. I also love cats and have knowledge on their mannerisms and boundaries. For puppies, I have experience teaching basic commands, pee pad and potty training, as well as leash training.

Please let me know if your furbaby has any quirks that i should know such and food and toy aggression, boundaries, and tendencies. Every dog and cat has certain personalities and I want to ensure they have the best time possible while missing their parent(s). Also of course if there are any injuries or daily medications that must be administered.
A typical day
I love spending time and getting to know dogs/ cats. Their personalities really intrigue me and I truly care about animal welfare. If your dog likes sticking their head out the window for a car ride around the neighborhood, I am the safest driver for the job. I believe walking dogs is not only for the exercise and going a distance, but for their mental stimulation being able to smell and explore new things. If your dog is responsive, I am able to take them to the dog beach or dog park near the area. At home, we will have lots of playtime and undivided attention. My favorite walking path for my dog is Riverwalk by las olas.

Availability
I am a college student doing virtual classes so my schedule is very open. Pet care to me is not only a job but a passion. I am currently striving for my psychology degree and plan to use this knowledge in spreading awareness on the synergy between animals and humans.
