Pet care experience
Dogs are an absolute joy and I would love to babysit yours! I lost my 14-year-old pup in late 2023 so I am currently an "empty nester". I have years of experience handling elderly dog challenges such as dietary restrictions and medications (oral or subcutaneous injection). While I don't have a yard, I'm happy to take your dog on frequent walks and keep them very entertained :). Your dog is welcome on my furniture as well.

Nikki loves dogs and is always attentive to any that she takes care of. She has had a dog for more than a decade and took very good care of her, giving her a full life until she sadly passed. During her ownership of her dog, she also took care of other dogs for friends, including my dog Bailey. She is knowledgeable and my dog loves her. Nikki's dog had many health complications and she always knew what to do for post-vet care. She is a great communicator and understanding! Highly recommend
Nikki is wonderful. So grateful to have found her. I knew our dog was is the best of care.

I currently have no pets in my home so your pup is welcome to run the show! I do not have a yard but my neighborhood is very walkable and I LOVE walking dogs along the lakefront, in nearby parks, etc.

I have ample experience with elderly dogs with challenges (medications, diet, etc). I have no preference on breed, and currently have no pets so I can take dogs that may not get along with others.
A typical day
In addition to frequent walks, we will play tug-of-war, fetch, and cuddle (depending on your dog's preference). I'm also happy to take your dog to a dog park if they enjoy socializing.

I'm currently working full time Monday to Friday most weeks but can work from home on occasion. My preference is to babysit on the weekend with possibly a weekday.
