Pet care experience
I have had a dog since I was in second grade, and have been house/pet sitting since I was in high school. I've also cared for some cats and other small animals, even a bearded dragon, a lizard named Arthur! I love animals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes.

My girl Ziggy dislikes virtually everyone. She loves Nikki, and for that I love her too. She’s wonderful, sending pictures and texts updating me. I can’t imagine choosing a different person to care for my baby.
Nikki was so wonderful! My Ziggy hates virtually everyone, she is a very grumpy lady. But within 5 minutes, she licked Nikki’s hand and my heart MELTED. Nikki updated me regularly about Ziggy while I was gone, she was so kind and so lovely. I will absolutely hire her again. Truly, Ziggy even hates my stepmom, and she’s known her since Ziggy was a baby. She loved Nikki.

I really cater to specifically your animal's needs and preferences. Upon request, I send pictures and updates as often as you'd like. I welcome animals/dogs who need extra care. I can care for your pet at my home or yours, whichever suits you both comfortably. I live close to the Oak Leaf trail. I love walking so when the weather is nice your dog will get some extra time outside. The longest walks I do are about 3-4 miles. (On overnight visits/extended stays walks are once per day for 30 minutes unless otherwise specified by you. If your dog needs a lot of walks, tips are appreciated :) ).

Information Nikki J. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know how your dog is on a leash, how they are with other dogs (if I need to switch to the other side of the sidewalk when we see a friend coming for example,) and if they have any allergies, and if I'd be able to bring my own treats. Also if there were any kind of emergency, what vet to take them to etc. Or any of info you think I need to know would be very helpful, the more I know the better.
A typical day
I will do activities that your animal enjoys, cuddling, fetch, walks... Whatever needs your dog has or how they like to play, I can take care of it. Like any other guest, your dogs are welcome on my furniture. I can take dog(s) around your neighborhood or I'm near the Oak Leaf Trail.

Availability
My schedule is currently very open, even during 9-5 business hours! I live in my own place in Shorewood, and currently do not have any pets of my own, my dog Oz passed away in 2022 he was 13 and had a lot of health issues (animals with health issues/special needs/seniors welcome!) My schedule is very flexible. I live very close to my family and they have a dog, a black lab named Roscoe who I get to see every day. So there's a lot of room in my life to care for more dogs and animals. I do not have any pets in my home.
