Pet care experience
I have taken care of animals since I was little. I've owned my own dog since 2006. I've been a zookeeper since 2006 as well. Giving me a wide range of animals that I've experienced taking care of. I've raised my dogs since they were puppies and have experience with the specific needs of an elderly dog as well. My sweet girl lived to be 14 and had many special needs in the last year and a half of her life.

Nikki and Moxie are fantastic hosts! Chloe starts to get excited as soon as we break out her travel bag, and loves her time with them. Nikki is great with communication and flexibility- both really appreciated!
She was so amazing, sending out updates daily with pictures of my dog. My dog can be very shy, but Nikki worked very hard to go slow and take her time, in the end my dog loved her. I can't thank her enough and will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!

I have a fenced-in yard that is very big. Moxie is a 4 year old Anatolian Shepherd that is great with smaller dogs. She is crated during the day. I have the ability to separate the dogs if your fur baby need some space. I prefer that they be crated when I'm not home but we can work something out depending on your preference. Moxie utilizes the fluent pet button system as a means of communication. Your dog might pick up on a thing or two! I typically feed two or three times a day depending if I'm at work or not. And they have access to go outside anytime they want when I'm home.

I like to know if a dog can be crated to keep them safe while I'm gone. Also that they'll be okay with my work schedule.
A typical day
We love to go on walks around the neighborhood and to the small park nearby. I also love taking the dogs to the riverwalk on my days off. We also play a lot of chase in the backyard.

Availability
I work full time, Tue to Sat. I am available to go home at lunch and let your dog out if needed. Once home I spend a lot of time playing in the back yard and walking the dogs around the neighborhood or at the river walks.
