Pet care experience
Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! 7 years ago, I rescued two puppy mill survivors who stole my heart. I have a lot of experience with “special needs” dogs as I spent several years rehabilitating my puppy mill rescues. I only use positive reinforcement training techniques. I have had dogs from 10 pounds all the way up to 80 pounds. In addition, I’m very familiar with giving a variety of medications. I work part-time so I am home much of the week. When I am at work, I have a security camera connected directly to my phone so I can check in anytime. (My job is flexible so I can stop in at home when needed). I would LOVE to welcome your sweet pup(s) into my safe and loving home while you’re away!

Nikki and her husband were great to my dog! He came home happy and seemed to be very settled and happy there! Their dog is super sweet and their neighborhood is great for dogs. They were flexible with me when travel was impacted by a snow storm. I’d definitely recommend!

Nikki has a rescue dog for many years and is an exceptional care giver to this dog. This dog was so afraid of everyone and everything when she got her. Now, this dog is a happy, outgoing dog due to Nikki's love and care. She is a very responsible, trustworthy and loving person.

I would love to know your dogs everyday routine! How does your dog get along with other dogs? Are there any behaviors I should be aware of? Also, I would like to know if your dog has any fears (vacuum, load noises, etc).
A typical day
My neighborhood is very dog-friendly and has greenway access! I would love to spend time walking with your dog along the scenic greenway! Also, we can play fetch with balls or frisbees in my fenced in backyard.
