Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 6. I grew up with multiple pets of my own. I also worked full time for a doggy daycare/overnight facility for 9 years. After graduating college I helped a local shelter for a year and a half by fostering puppies until they were ready for adoption. Almost all of my friends have had me dog sit for them at some point while they’ve been out of town or busy working. I have experience bathing, walking, playing, feeding, and giving medications to pets. I thoroughly enjoy being around all types of dogs, and would love to help you care for yours!

Nicole has always loved animals and had dreams of becoming a vet. She has watched my pup when I have been out of town, and Asher loves her very much. Whenever Asher sees Nikki, he gets very excited. Nicole loves dogs so much that she fostered in the past. She also worked for Camp Bow Wow just so she could spend time with her furry friends. I wouldn’t just trust Nicole with my Asher but with anything.

I am very responsible when caring for someone’s pet. I always make sure to follow any specific instructions for the safety and well being of the pet. I am happy to walk your dog with whatever you feel most comfortable with (harness, gentle leader, ect).

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I can account for. I am happy to reinforce any simple training that you may be working on if discussed beforehand (for example not letting your pup jump up, or sitting and waiting before they leave the house). Also, please let me know if there are any treats from your home you would like me to give to your pup!
A typical day
I am happy to do what works best for you and your pup! If a leisurely walk around the block is more your dogs pace, then I am happy to do that! However, if you have more of a high energy dog that needs a brisk walk to help wear them out I am happy to do that too! I always try to look up the area beforehand to plot a good walking path. I always bring a bowl and water with me on our walk, and ensure your pup has plenty of water at home before I leave.

Availability
I am currently working part time as a nurse, so I have plenty of extra free time to help walk your pets! My availability each week is not always the same days, but each week I have at least 2-3 days available.
