We have had pets all our lives and have been involved in animal rescue for a long time. Over the last 2 years, we have fostered 12 dogs and 5 cats, and have cared for our friends’ pets as well. Each of these animals were of different breeds and sizes, and had different personalities and energy levels. Some also had health issues that required daily medication and shots. As a result, our expertise in caring for all types of dogs and cats, and we can work with the specific needs of your pet to ensure they receive the attention and care they need. We live in a 3-bedroom townhouse with a small fenced backyard in a quiet neighbourhood. There is lots of space for your pets to run and play within the house, and several parks and trails nearby. Having worked extensively with rescue animals, we also understand how to ensure your pet feels (and is!) safe and secure in their temporary new space. We are used to ensuring our doors and windows are always locked, double leashing, using crates (if the dog prefers it), etc. We also understand that there may be an adjustment period - and we’re willing to work with you to make this a positive experience for your furrbaby. We understand the anxiety pet owners feel when leaving their beloved pets behind, and that's why we make sure to provide frequent updates and photos so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is in the best hands. We lost our beloved sweet senior cat recently and miss having pets in the house. We’re excited to have your pet as a temporary part of our family!
