I attended college first for my bachelors in equine studies, then again to continue my education in order to become a certified vet tech. Most of my years as a vet tech I worked at PennVet but I have also spent time at Red Bank and VSEC. Recently I decided to take a job at Petplan Pet Insurance in order to spend more time with my little family (no more working nights and weekends :D). The only downfall is that it leaves me missing working with animals, despite us having two wonderful dogs of our own. I thought offering dog care would be a perfect way to get more hands on animal interaction again. I have plenty of experience with animals with any kinds of special needs, medications, etc and am able to give any and all kind of medications/special care as needed. I’m around most weekends and am home every day by 4 (unless I’m working from home, which I do at least twice a week). We do have a seven year boy, so any guests should be ok with a well-behaved kiddo who knows when to give nervous animals their space if needed.
