I am a 43 year old pet lover living in Vernon, CT. I have been a dog owner all of my life. In July 2018, my beloved Oreo passed away at the golden age of 17 1/2. I work from home so I would be home with your pets in their environment all day. We go for walks daily and have play time. Depending on what your pet enjoys, I will do our best to entertain them. My preference is to watch small dogs. But if you have older or calmer medium or large dog, it might be a good fit. :-) I do not have the room for a giant sized dog. I have had 3 dogs in my adult life all living long healthy lives in my care, so I have experience with all ages of doggies. I have been watching my friends' pets for years, so this option seemed like a natural fit. If you think we would be a good fit, lets meet up! I would love the opportunity to love on your fur-babies while you are away. I have completed an online course in Animal Psychology, Animal Training and Pet Sitting and Senior Dog/Cat care. My condo has a crumbling foundation and I am extremely willing to housesit from anytime from May-September anywhere in CT and the surrounding area! Stays over a holiday (New Year's Day, MLK Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) may incur a $5 increase in fee for the holiday and the day before and after depending on the length of the stay.
