Certified Dog Trainer and Lover
Pet care experience
Experience: I grew up with all kinds of pets and spent a lot of time in my youth training my pups, volunteering at animal shelters, and pet sitting. At 17 I attended a dog training academy and graduated with my professional dog training certification in 2019! After that I even worked in dog grooming for a bit.

Niki is the best dog sitter! She watched my 7 month old Great Dane puppy, it was his first time boarding for a long 8 day timeframe. She made him feel comfortable and a part of her pack. Unfortunately, Niki is moving to North Carolina or else she would be my forever sitter for our pup!! Don’t hesitate to book with her she is knowledgeable and a very professional dog handler. Trigger will miss you!! 🤍🐮
Niki is THE BEST with our needy Doberman! She’s kind and loves him and he is always so excited to go play! She’s watched him several times and she sends lots of pics and we’ve never had any problems!!
Always the best care with Niki! So grateful for how much she loves our pup. I appreciate the updates as well!
Niki is such an amazing sitter! She's very flexible, easy to talk to and took such great care of Summer :) Thank you so much, Niki!!

My boarding approach: Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority! Going to school for dog training made me an expert at reading their body language. All interactions between pups are closely monitored to make sure everyone is having a good time. If your dog isn’t friendly or simply prefers not to interact with others, I have no problem accommodating them. With a three bedroom house, there’s plenty of space for them to have to themself. All boarding and daycare dogs must be crate trained to keep their stay stress free. If I cannot be monitoring your dog because I am sleeping or leaving the house for a short time, they will be kept safe in a kennel. Basic boarding and daycare include constant access to fresh water, feeding as directed by the owner, playtime and potty breaks in the fenced yard, and any needs specific to the individual (ex: administering medication or brushing if necessary for their coat type). For an extra $50 a day, you can go deluxe. This adds over an hour of enrichment to your dog’s day, usually in the form of a trip to a park. We can also go hiking, visit a pet-friendly store, or accomplish the same things at home if the weather is too bad. The time can be used to work on any training goals you have or simply to let your dog play and exercise in a new environment. Pick-up + Drop-off service is $20 if you live within 5 miles of my home or $1 per mile if you are farther. Full grooms (bath, blow dry, nail trim, ear cleaning, and hair clip if aplicable) are available for $20 an hour. The length of the groom depends on the pup’s cooperation, size, and coat. What to Bring: Your healthy pup that has not recently shown any signs of illness, such as coughing or diarrhea. They must be up to date on their DAPP and rabies vaccines, at minimum. The only other thing that’s required is enough food for your dog’s stay! (If you do not provide a sufficient amount there is a $1 per mile fee for me to go purchase more from the closest store that carries it, on top of the price of the food. They cannot just be switched onto my dogs’ food, as the sudden change would likely upset their stomach.)
Information Niki F. would like to know about your pet
• Does your dog have any fears I should be aware of? (Vacuum, fireworks, etc.) • Does your dog bark at other dogs, cats, people, vehicles, etc? • Have they ever shown aggression (bit a person or dog or attempted to do so)? This will not affect my willingness to care for them, but it is very important to know in order to keep everyone safe. • Does your dog have any allergies or other medical conditions, and are they on medication?
A typical day
I strive to keep your dog's life enriched both physically and mentally. As important as it is to exercise their body, it's also great to work your dog's brain. Your pup can enjoy making new friends, lots of playtime in the yard, a variety of chew toys, doggy food puzzles, and training!
