Pet care experience
I've had a total of 3 dogs throughout my life, all of whom I've helped feed, walk, bathe, and take care of over the years. I've also taken care of other people's dogs while they're away, including walking, spending time with them, and even sleeping over. I have volunteered at SAVE Animal Shelter (Montgomery, NJ), Somerset Regional Animal Shelter (Bridgewater, NJ) with both cats and dogs, and Tabby’s Place: a Cat Sanctuary (Ringoes, NJ). I also have 2 cats and have had others my whole life.

Nikali is my daughter and has taken excellent care of our family’s cat and 2 dogs for more than 10 years. In addition to our own, she has pet sat for several local families, in situations where she goes to their home 1-3x/day and sleepovers when preferred or if in need of a housesitter too. Nikali volunteers at Somerset Animal Shelter and is passionate about animal welfare. She is responsible, trustworthy, and has reliable transportation.

A typical day
We have a fenced in yard with balls for the dogs to play fetch with. They also love playing with each other! When I have time on the weekends and nice weather permits, I love to take my dogs on hikes or to swim at the dog beach.

Availability
Looking for work between college graduation and starting a full-time job. I will be available until May 15 and then only on weekends after that.
