Hey, there! My name is Nika, and welcome to my profile! Since an early age, I have had various pets, such as bunnies, cats, fish, and tortoises! In addition, I have worked as a Rover sitter for 2 1/2 years, and am very grateful to have worked with so many amazing clients and their adorable pets along the way! As a result, I understand that each individual pet is very special and unique, and should be treated as such.(: I am open to caring for multiple kinds of pets, such as dogs, cats, reptiles, etc. My pet care routine is strictly tailored to your needs and the daily duties that are specific to your pet. It is my goal to provide a pleasant, fun, and friendly experience for you both! I highly recommend Meet and Greets before any potential booking. It’s a great and safe way to determine if yourself and pets are comfortable with me, and I usually take notes and ask questions beforehand to ensure your pets have everything they need.(: I am available to provide Days Only House Sitting (no more than 1 overnight) to previous clients, or upon request.(: This is due to my current schedule availability, and can be considered as a longer Drop-In visit (any amount of time more than 1 hour, and up to a full day). For all walks, drop-in visits, and 1 day house sitting, I follow all the owner’s care instructions for their pet, put away things in their vicinity that could potentially be harmful to them (chocolate and other hazardous foods, cleaning supplies, etc.), do house chores (upon owner’s request), take photos and send updates via Rover cards, and course, spend lots of time hanging out with them and making sure they have the best time ever! For walks, I will: - Follow owner’s commands for their pet (sit, stay, wait, etc.). - Take your pups on approved/normal routes, or somewhere fun and new, upon you request. - Give your pups lots of rest and water breaks. - Walk them earlier during the summertime or we can stay indoors or play in the backyard, if the weather is too warm. For drop-in visits and house sitting (1 Day), I will: - Always have your pets in my sight at all times. - Follow your pets’ normal schedule. - Pay attention to their individual needs. - Play their favorite games/toys with them, lots of love and attention, and cuddles (depending on your pet’s preferences). -Bathe/groom your pet, upon request (please see additional rates for pricing) Bathing and grooming entails: -Giving your pup or kitty a bath. -Drying them off. -Brushing them. -Clipping their nails or a providing paw fur trim (if requested). -Cleaning their ears(if requested). -Ensuring that the bathroom/bathing area is clean afterwards. -Anything else that the owner may request. - I typically use the owner’s supplies for these services, if they are comfortable with me doing so ( please feel free to let me know your preferences). -Unfortunately, I do not provide haircut services.

I am comfortable caring for all types of pets, and dogs at any age, up to the maximum of 100lbs. For every pet, please feel free to provide me with important information, such as: - The type of care your pet needs (feeding, playtime, potty time, etc.). - If they require any medications, have any special needs. - Commands they respond to. - Likes and dislikes. - Who or what should be avoided on walks (other dogs, people, cats, etc.). - Veterinary information. - Care instructions for your home (chores, etc.).
A typical day
My goal is aways to ensure that your pets have lots of fun, are safe , relaxed, and well-taken care of! If they are more high-energy, we can go on long walks, play their favorite games/toys, and or play fetch/chase in your backyard. If your pets are more mellow and lees energetic, we can still play with their favorite toys and cuddle on the couch (whatever your pet loves to do the most).(: For walks, i am fine taking your pets on approved routes or exploring someplace new!
