Proud Dog Owner of a Rescue Hound a Golden Retriever and a Miniature Dachshund Have over 6+ of experience Diligent in making sure my own dogs and other peoples dogs get the attention, care and exercise they need I give my two large dogs and one small dog at least one hour of intensive exercise (playing with a ball, soccer ball or frees bee) at our nearby dog park or take them for a long, brisk walk every day. They are very friendly and interact well with other dogs. Often, we will have our friends and their dogs over to hang out and it is a blast watching all the dogs run around and play with one another or the myriad of dog toys we have available in our apartment. My wife and I are both comfortable having other people's dogs sleep on our bed with us if that is what they are used to and prefer. No problem. Nik is fantastic! My dog is 15 and felt right at home with Nik. While away, I received pictures of my dog which made me feel good and confident that I left him with the right person.
Highly recommend Nik for dogsitting. He agreed to meet up before booking at a park to make sure Winnie got a long with everyone and was a good fit with his pups, which was super helpful and put me at ease leaving Winnie with him. He also provided updates on how Winnie was doing while I was away. He’s a super easygoing guy with very sweet pups, which made the whole experience so much better.

I spend quality time with dogs whether in my own home or the clients home, playing, exercising and giving them the attention, they need so they are not neglected. i make sure all dogs under my care (mine or others) get let out regularly for bathroom breaks, walks and that they are fed regularly at their appointed times and that their water bowl is full. I make sure that no obstacles, objects or debris is lying around that they could ingest and harm themselves. I am vigilant and keep close watch over them and how they are doing.

A typical day
Take them for walks around the neighborhood, take them to various dog parks nearby including a dog beach to interact with and play with other dogs. I enjoy playing games with dogs by throwing their ball across the room, getting them to play with their dog toys and playing soccer with them on an open field or tossing a ball for them to fetch repeatedly until they are tired. I love petting dogs, and giving them the pats and scratching that they long for which in turn brings me a lot of joy
