Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs (and cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.). I had a Chihuahua-Rat Terrior of my own for nearly 10 years and have lived with Shih Tzu, Bichon Frisé, Poolies, labs, and other mix breeds. I have always loved animals since I was a small child. I have pondered getting a dog of my own again - but plan on traveling more in the future so doggy daycare and walking is the perfect compromise!

Nicole is absolutely amazing! My little guy is almost 15 weeks and loves to be outside. I greatly appreciated her taking him out for walks, making sure he was happy, taking him out for a multitude of potty breaks (sometimes 2 times in an hour if needed) and keeping me updated throughout the day. I highly recommend Nicole, especially if you want your dog to be well cared for!!
I couldn’t be more pleased! We will definitely keep her in mind for more dog sitting needs.
Nicole took excellent care of my aging dog, Lulu. She was always patient and kind with her, even when Lulu was kind of difficult. Nicole was also very sweet with our cat Milo. I never worried when I knew she was in charge of the pets!

In-Home dog care: I will cater to your pet's needs. Crated, doggy fence between rooms, a dog bed next to my desk, or on my lap if they fit. If we were to set up a regular schedule, I have space to store food, dog bed, etc. so there would be no need to haul items back and forth every time. For boarding and doggy daycare: I have one cat and use a gate to separate the litter box and cat food from the main living area to avoid any mishaps. I'm happy to send as many pics throughout the day as you'd like!

Communication is key - let me know what your pet's needs are! Medications, preferences during walks when passing other dogs or people/children, etc.. A meet and greet is always best beforehand :)
A typical day
Walk, play in the back yard (if at my home), toys, belly rubs, lap time, etc. I am instinctive when it comes to cats and dogs and will let them come to me. Friendly and able to use any particular commands you may have for walking, treats, etc.

Availability
I work from home with a fully flexible schedule. I have an 8-year-old rescue cat from Mexico who is fine around dogs. I live in a large one-bedroom apartment in a 4-plex on the first floor (good for older dogs if stairs are a problem), and have a large fully fenced-in yard. I'm happy to watch your smallish dog during the day or overnight. I live a few blocks from Lake Bde Maka Ska in the Calhoun Isles area, low low-traffic streets and wide sidewalks for dog walking (depending on snow, of course!).
