HELLO! My name is Nicole Yim. I am currently a Pre-Veterinary student studying Animal Science at Cal Poly Pomona. Since high school, I have interned and worked at 3 different animal hospitals as a Veterinary Technician/ Veterinary Assistant. At home, I have two rescues: Piglet and Sage; both boys, but spoiled like little princesses. Piglet came to us as people and dog aggressive at 11 years old. Most people told us that we can try training him, but because of his age, that he was hopeless and to "just accept the fact that he will never be nice". My family and I did not let others' opinions change our minds. So after 5 years of patient love, Piglet has come to love our family and mellow his aggressiveness. Most of the time he keeps to himself, but there are days when I often find Piglet butt to butt with Sage on one of their 6 beds. On the other hand, Sage cannot get enough attention from any and everyone. It would be inappropriate to offer nothing more than the utmost love and attention for your pet(s) while you are away.
