Growing up, I've had pets longer than I can remember. At a young age, I was able to take control of the situation and show my pet who is in charge without harm but with patience and love. I have a genuine love for all animals and treat every one of them like they are my own. My family doesn't yet have pets of our own but I'd be happy to be able to get to love on your fur baby for a while. I can talk firmly to pets so that they know that we aren't playing anymore and transition into patiently guiding the pet to be cooperative without and physical punishment. My approach is more loving and firm with pets rather than any type of neglect.
