Tails are waggin' dogs are bragging

Pet care experience

I am currently a vet tech at Cottonwood in Woodway. My hours are 8-5:30 during the week. I've worked with dogs in a boarding/grooming business as well as working at a animal rescue. I've been pet sitting for about 5 Years now, my clients and their pets are like family. I will provide your pet with the same care that I provide my own. I provide activities such as feeding, administering any medication given by the owner, provide clean water at all times, walking, cleaning after your pet, and most definitely lots of play time. If doing a house sitting and dog sitting, I will manage things while you are gone, as far as checking the mail, taking the trash out, watering plants, general things that need to be tended too when someone is away from their home. I always provide dogs with stimulating activities. I have excellent communication skills, I enjoy updating you about your pet, home and sending pictures. I'm a very active person, I love to take dogs on walks, play ball, or play with your pet with their favorite toy. I supervise closely if your pet is playing with others. I will always observe for any illnesses or injuries. In case of an emergency, I will contact you and then take your pet to the Animal Emergency Clinic. I can bathe your pet in your home, I do also carry nail clippers with me, in case your pet needs a trim . This is not just a job to be, this is my passion. I love being able to meet new pets, build a relationship with them, and make them comfortable in their own home while you are away. My goal is to keep your pet happy, active, safe, healthy and stress free until you return back to your home. I have worked with many breeds, different sizes, they all have different personalities. I study dog and cat behavior. If a pet needs to warm up to me, I do know how to work at their pace. I do NOT discriminate against any breeds. If you have any questions, feel free to just shoot me a message.

Nicole was fantastic every step of the way. She was prompt with communication and thorough in asking questions to make sure we felt good about leaving our pups in her hands. She took great care of them and made sure to ask questions when needed and sent pics every day so we would know everything was good. Will definitely use her again when we need someone to watch the pups!

I pet sit in my clients home. I stay there the whole time they are gone. Even tho I do work full time, I wake up earlier then I normally do to make sure that your pet has been fed, has pottied and has been walked. As soon as I get off work, your pet is my number one concern. We will go on a walk or play etc.

Information Nicole W. would like to know about your pet

1) Does your pet have any quirks, anything that scares them, anything that I need to watch for? 2) Any medical issues or medication that I need to give to them? 3) What would you like for me to do in case of an emergency? 4) How do you discipline your pet if they misbehave? How do you reward them for good behavior? 5) How often should I drop in to take your pet outside? 6) Is your pet good with kids? I do have an 8 year old daughter. 7) Does your pet come from a past where they have trauma from physical or emotional abuse?

A typical day

Depending on where you live or if your comfortable with your pet leaving your home, I sometimes take pets to the dog park in China Springs, to the Hewitt Park, and in the summer, the Lake to play ball. I love throwing the ball, working on social and behavior habits.
