Pet care experience
In 2019, I worked for Woods Humane Society in San Luis Obispo as a Humane Education Ambassador, teaching children all about dogs and cats in adoption shelters. I fell in love with it, and decided to work summer camp for them, as well and join their foster care team. Since then, I have fostered both kittens and dogs from different shelters. I started working for Rover in August of 2020 and loved every minute of it. I took a break when switching careers, but am ready to get back to it! I miss seeing furry friends as I am not fully ready to commit to my own pet.

Nicole was great with Leah! She communicated promptly and sent photos and videos throughout the day. We'll definitely use her again.
Nicole was wonderful! I am a total helicopter parent and like to be sure my kitties are okay especially when we are gone for a while. She sent me many pictures and videos each visit so I knew they were okay and alive haha! Would definitely use her again!

In your home, I promise your pet will receive lots of love and attention. My animal shelter experience has also taught me several strategies for approaching more shy/anxious animals, and how to slowly win them over. So if your pet is more skittish, I will be sure not to overwhelm them!

It’s great to know what their personality is like, especially when meeting someone new. Also how they are with other dogs, children, and on leash if/when we come across these things on a walk, as well as what specific toys and commands you like to use with them!
A typical day
I love playing with pets, especially giving them enrichment toys and working on certain commands in training. Just let me know a little bit about them and I will be happy to continue using your commands.

Availability
Right now, I am working as a Liquor Sales Specialist. Most days, I am working in the field from 7:00am-2:00pm, but have breaks throughout the day where I can fit a drop-in visit or walk. I am currently not active for boarding or day care. Any weekend trips/plans will be blocked off on my calendar but you can message me to double check.
