Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life! Grew up with cats and 100lb+ dogs, but have experience with cats and dogs of all sizes. I have been volunteering at a pet shelter for 9+ months, where my responsibilities include dog care (walking, kennel cleaning, enrichment), cat care (enrichment, cleaning), fostering dogs, and mentoring other volunteers. I have fostered young puppies, and have worked with dogs and cats of all ages. In the past I have also done drop-bys to walk & check in on dogs and cats.

Nicole is amazing!! She was so good with our dog Buddy, a rescue dog ! She was so patient and kind to him and sent us reports and pictures everyday! Her communication with us was excellent! She stopped by the next day and Buddy was so happy to see her he did his welcome dance that he does with us. We were at ease knowing he was with her while we were gone!!She also kept our house so clean!! We would remmomend her highly and hope she comes back!!
Nicole’s home is like a second home for DoMo :) we are very happy with Nicole and her lovely parents to take care of our fur-ball who is still 5 months old and quite naughty and needs constant attention… always looking forward…

Depending on your needs, I can adjust my house setup for your animals. I have play pens and a crate if indoor separation is necessary, and can easily separate your pets from mine if you prefer. But my dog and cat are very friendly and will be good at keeping your pets company if you choose. My yard is not fenced, however I take my dog on regular walks, and will make sure to get your pet on plenty of walks throughout the day.

Please let me know if your pet has special needs, so I can make sure I give them great care. I have experience giving dogs and cats oral medication and would be willing to give injected meds, if you give me a demonstration. I’ve worked with a deaf dog in the past (using sign hand signals) and am a quick learner once I get a demo!
A typical day
I love to take dogs out on walks, play fetch with them (if it’s an enclosed yard), and tug of war. Going on hikes or going to dogs parks in the area could be so fun with your pet. We can settle down at the end of the day with pets, treats, and snuggles too!

Availability
I’m a recent college grad, and my job doesn’t begin until summer 2024, so I have plenty of time to spend with your animals! I volunteer at the animal shelter at least 1 day a week for 7 hours, but otherwise am completely flexible to your needs.
