A house is not a home without a Dog
Pet care experience
Growing up, I ALWAYS had a dog, and I would often dog sit for the neighbors when they went out of town. It wasn't until I moved out and was going to college that I finally experienced not having a pet... and let me tell you it was sad and lonely four years. One day my roomie/ best friend made an impulse decision to adopt a border collie-mix. I was a little hesitant at first, but soon my fiance, best friend, and I formed the perfect blended co-parenting team to our very high energy pup- Meeka. A few months later we decided to take the leap and start travel nursing. We uprooted our lives in Colorado to move into a camper and travel across the country to Connecticut with our adventure pup. We had a great time exploring, and Meeka loved going to the beach and chance she got. Unfortunately plans changed, and my best friend met someone who she wanted to pursue. So our little family was broken up when my husband and I took the camper to Arizona, and she kept Meeka with her on the East Coast. We were extremely sad not having a dog around to adventure with anymore, so just one day after arriving to Arizona we went to check out a local adoption event just to be around some dogs again. I told my husband not to get his hopes up, and that we weren't going to buy the first dog we liked... but the jokes on me because I immediately fell in love with a little Shepherd Mix pup. She had this little nervous smile when my sister picked her up, but she was so calm and never made a peep. I begged my husband to adopt her, and the rest was history! Brandi has been mama's little girl since day one, so naturally she is completely spoiled rotten. She has brought so much happiness into our lives, and I could never imagine going on any adventures again without her. I am a nurse working three 12-hour night's a week. My schedule differs from week to week which nights I am working. My husband is working from home. Whenever I am at work or sleeping before work, my husband take care of Brandi. Thankfully our pup never has to be left alone between our two schedules. Our dog Brandi is a little over 1 years old now; she is extremely friendly and LOVES to play with any other dog, human, or animal. We often take her to the dog park to let her get some of her energy out.
Reviews
Nicole and Taylor took care of our dog like he was their own. He enjoyed snuggles and playing with their phenomenal dog. Very grateful for their loving care with our dog.
My dog was so sad to leave Nicole and Taylor, Red (my dog) had 2 other dogs to play with. I got my updates every day and I will absolutely will be using Nicole and Taylor in the future.
Nicole was great with my pups. She watched them at my house for 5 days...sent pictures throughout that time, which put my mind at ease being away from them.
Nicole cared for my dog like it was her own! She’s such a sweet and caring individual, I never worried about my little babes being bored or uncared for. She’s always willing to go that extra step to make your pooch feel at home and loved. Highly recommend!

We have transitioned out of our camper lifestyle, and are living in a real home now. We decided to set down some roots after having our first child in May. 🙂 There is a doggie door with fenced yard.
Information Nicole & Taylor N. would like to know about your pet
Do they get along with other dogs? Do they need to be in a crate or is it okay to let them on furniture/ the bed? Have they ever been around young children?
A typical day
We love hitting the trails in Sedona, Prescott, Clarkdale, and pretty much anywhere we can find adventure! We frequently go to the Dog Park. And of course, lots of snuggling and relaxing in bed/ on the couch.
