Cat owner and dog lover
Pet care experience
I'm a grad student with 2 adult cats and 14 years of pet ownership under my belt. Though I do not own a dog myself, I have been a dogsitter or dog-walker of choice for many friends over the years. I love all animals and would be happy to care for your cat, dog, or other critter (instructions may be necessary if it's not a dog or cat!) but unfortunately, my kitties aren't open to strangers in their home, so it'll have to be outdoors or at your place! I am fully vaccinated (2 pfizer shots + 2 week waiting period) as of May 20, 2021!
Reviews
Nicole is always great & loves on our cats. This visit she even noticed that our plants were really feeling the effects of the heat & offered to water them!
It has eased my mind to know that my cats have warmed up to Nicole so quickly. It's one less thing to worry about and has really allowed my husband and I enjoy time when we're (finally) getting away from the city.
Sent me tons of pictures and updates. Very kind and easy to contact. Would 100 percent use again!
Nicole is definitely the shy-cat-whisperer! When she came over to meet my cats our shy cat did what he always does around new people- hide. I told her not to worry if this is what he did during her visit and she must’ve taken that as a challenge. Whatever she did won over both cats and it warmed my heart to see our shy boy demanding to be pet while cozying up to her lap (behavior he usually only does with me and my husband). We’re definitely rebooking whenever we’re out of town!

I cannot board pets in my home, but I understand every pet and pet owner will have different needs and preferences, so I make sure to have conversations about what's normal for your dog during our meet and greet. I want to disrupt your pet's life as little as possible, while providing the best care I can.
Information Nicole T. would like to know about your pet
I do not have breed preferences, but please let me know a bit about your dog's personality. Does s/he like interacting with other humans and animals? Is s/he reactive to critters we see on the sidewalk? Is s/he afraid of loud noises, bicycles, or whatever else? Does s/he like to jump on people, pull at the leash, etc? I need to know what's normal so I can keep him/her happy and safe while out with them. Also, please let me know if your pet has other known issues that might cause alarm for a new walker (frequent soft pooping is a common one I've experienced) so I know whether I should be concerned if it happens.
A typical day
I'm a big walker and I enjoy running, so I'm up for long walks or runs if your dog is into that. I also have fun playing fetch with dogs if we can find a good spot. Let me know what your dog's favorite spots are!

Dog walking is an enjoyable side gig for me, but not my main job, so although I am flexible with hours, the nature of my work means daily long-term recurring bookings are not ideal for me. Sometimes I have to crunch with my other work. Happy to discuss week by week or take on intermittent walking/checking in and super excited to meet your pet(s).
