Pet care experience
Welcome! Thank you for stopping by. With extensive experience in animal companionship, property management, and house sitting, I bring a passion for the outdoors and a deep understanding of diverse animal care needs. From fish to horses, cattle, dogs, chickens, lizards, cats, and beyond, I've nurtured a wide array of animals. Alongside my proficiency in animal husbandry, I possess comprehensive skills in home and property management. I am well-versed in raw fed nutrition and advocate for a holistic lifestyle. As a licensed property manager and seasoned real estate investor, I prioritize meticulous attention to detail and safeguarding assets. In my down time, I enjoy photography, gardening, cooking, and hiking, embracing activities that promote a healthy lifestyle for both my human and fur babies. Occasionally, my husband of 20 years joins me to lend a hand. With his background in Ranch Management, Sales, and MacGyver-like handyman skills, he seamlessly integrates into any project, proving to be an invaluable asset to our team. Rest assured, your beloved companions are in capable hands! Travel is additional & determined as needed. I move in and handle all of your Animals + Property management needs while you relax on vacation or focus on business! You tell me what needs to happen to keep your property running smoothly, and let us worry about the rest! Plants, chores, garbage, mail, shoveling, maintenance, etc... I may leave for up to *4 hours at a time for additional obligations. (*except in the event of an emergency) ‼️ Boarding: We have a wonderful property for hosting dogs, but it’s important to note that our yard is NOT fenced. Requests for boarding are carefully screened for various safety criteria. We are surrounded by a big irrigation ditch & wonderful trails, which are a lot of fun for swimmers, but obviously comes with responsibility and is not a good fit for all dogs. Dogs will be exposed to ticks, field grass, potential obstacles in the water, other walkers in the area, and light traffic. It is essential that we are all a good match before agreeing to board. Dogs must follow basic commands & have excellent recall despite wildlife distractions. Therefore, we do require a scheduled Meet & Greet with your dog on our property prior to accepting a boarding. Thank you for your understanding! I look forward to meeting you and your treasured friends! Insured through Pet Care Insurance, PCI
Reviews
Nicole was AMAZING! I highly recommend she took great care of my young puppy and was so good at keeping me updated! She’s amazing!
Nicole is an extremely loving and knowledgeable pet owner and pet caretaker. She lovingly cared for our Bernidoodle for several days. Taking her for daily walks and providing her lots of appropriate attention. She is knowledgeable in proper corrections, animal diets, and animal first aid. Our fur baby is always very happy to see Nicole and spend time with her. Our family highly recommends Nicole.

We are fortunate to have trails & fields running in several directions from our 5 acre property. We also have a big ditch that follows the trails, which the dogs love to swim & splash in. I can walk your dog in your neighborhood or mine, if nearby. There are excellent walking trails and parks on the west end available to explore. We do not visit dog parks for health & safety reasons. ** Our property is not fenced, therefore, boarding is determined on an individual basis and your animal assessed to ensure a safe stay. ** I'm perfectly content to play & care for your animals according to your schedule and needs. I'll ask for clear instructions from you and that all supplies are readily available for use so we can maximize our bonding time. For working breeds especially, I enjoy a variety of mental & physical play, as well as scent walks. Frisbee is a favorite game of ours, and sometimes we engage in mental and/or agility work on our track. Snuggles & loves are always free!!

A typical day
We enjoy regular agility & brain games for all breeds, along with a healthy dose of physical exercise. You can find us playing frisbee, tennis ball, hide & seek, track work, swimming, doing projects together, and actively exploring our surroundings. Our dogs love to swim in the ditch, so please let me know if this is a safe activity that your furbaby can enjoy! I also have a pool on the patio that we can utilize and lots of space & shade for afternoon siestas. We typically walk trails to the East & West, following the big ditch on the far west end. Occasionally we might visit Phipps park or other outdoor recreation areas in the surrounding vicinity, but this will always be discussed ahead of time. I am happy to stay in your neighborhood or in areas with sidewalks if that is your preference.
