My family always has had rescue dogs in the house. I have my own rescue dog at my own house. I have volunteered at a dog shelter called AEAR. I have also saved numerous stray dogs and provided them a safe place to stay until I found their owner or a no kill shelter. I have also dog sat for my neighbors and I started a dog walking business in my neighborhood when I was twelve. I have a passion for animals and children. One day, I hope to become a Special Education teacher and open a dog shelter for rescue dogs. I wish I could save all the homeless dogs. I think I would be a great sitter because I have experience taking care of dogs especially since I have grown up around dogs and have previous dog sitting experience
