I am a nursing student and artist (i love painting pet portraits!) Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Aside from caring for my own pets, my parents have been fostering dogs for 4 years so I have experience helping with the fosters and volunteering with their animal rescue. While in college I spent time volunteering at the local humane society and helped with their shelter dogs. I've taken a class through the shelter that involves how to care for and walk the dogs. My volunteer work has taught me how to introduce new animals, and has given me insight on training. It has also taught me a whole bunch about trauma in dogs and how to help. I know how hard it can be to trust someone with your pets (these are our babies!) I can assure you that your pet will be well taken care of and I will always treat them as my own :) I currently commute to school most weekdays and am available for pet care after 3pm. On most weekends I have open availability throughout the day. I am comfortable with crating animals, walking them on leashes with or without harness, administering medications with instructions, giving treats, and having playtime with them to get out some energy!
