Animal loving, active & energetic

Pet care experience

Hi, I'm nikki. I've always loved animals - dogs especially. I've had two dogs in my life. Currently, I have a 2 year old Rotty mix who is a sweet as can be. Ivan been a dog sitter for several friends and family. Between my own dog and friends dogs, I'm around them all the time. Im a full time medical assistant right now, but I'm going back to school to become a veterinary technician in the near future. Seeing as though I'll be cutting back in hours at my job, I thought that working with Rover would be great way to make a little extra money. Plus, it will be huge bonus that this happens to be something I truly love to do - hang out and care for dogs! In my pictures I've included the backyard- which has a 6 foot chain fence, and a new gate. There is also a picture of my living room. I want to provide owners with a good idea of where their dog will be hanging out if he or she allows me to day sit or board their dog.

Nicole did an awesome job with our dog Jay during his stay with her! I was very impressed with how she kept us updated on Jay activities and well being throughout each day of his stay. I would definitely rebook another visit with Nicole. And, I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a caring and communicative person to take care of their dog while their away.

Nicole was very good taking care of my dog. Mozzy had a great time with her dog dobby. Nicole sent me regular updates and photos. Very easy to work with. I will surely see her again

Nikki is a trustworthy dog owner. She has a very trained and lovable puppy that is her world. She loves taking dogs for walks, giving them baths and treating them as if they were her own dog. Your dog would be in such great hands that you would say "where has this person been?! She is incredible!" I trust her completely with my own pets and would advise anyone do the same. She is an honest person, respectful and professional with whatever task is asked of her. She is the kind of person who considers a dog family, not just a pet.

I think Nicole would be an asset and a wonderful addition to Rover. She used to watch my dog Missy all the time when I went out of town. I knew she was safe and well taken care of and I could enjoy my vacations without concerns or worries. She loves animals and really treats them like family. If I ever decide to get another animal, she would be the first , if not only person I would call to to provide care for them. She is very kind, compassionate and truly cares about the best interest of the animals. Sincerely, Cathy Burack

Information Nicole S. would like to know about your pet

I dont have breed prefences. I just want the dog's owner to understand that if they choose to leave their dog in my care, I will treat that dog is if it is my own. I will do my best to make their dog comfortable and have a lot of fun.

A typical day

I enjoy taking my and other dogs for walks through my neighborhood. There are also two local parks that have nature trails that allow dogs. These are a lot of fun for both dogs and myself. Since i have a decent sized fenced in backyard, playing fetch and running around can be a good way to get out some of that crazy puppy energy. I also have a kiddie pool for a quick cool down for the dogs to splash around in.
